The High-Flying Adventures of Captain Grief
Welcome
to "The High-Flying Adventures of Captain Grief. The safe space to grieve for widows, and widowers of every race, religion, gender, orientation, ability or superpower status there is.
I came up with my super hero alter ego Captain Grief the year after my wife died suddenly in 2012, leaving me a 34 year old widow and single mom with a one-and-a-half-year-old child. The Captain likes to think she is in charge but i'm the one who has survived the last 12 years, I just needed someone to fight with!
Need a laugh? Need a cry? Need to laugh and cry at the same time? Then you have come to the right place my friend! The only way you should be grieving is on you own terms and time line. So Join us for cathartic conversation, ridiculous drama who just might understand the road you're on with loss. Subscribe to be notified of the next blog or special event, we have some great stuff coming up.
